Terms and Conditions of Service
Acceptance of an Invoice, booking or service from Trash Rubbish Removal ABN 35 362 475 182 (herein referred to as ‘Trash’) is acceptance of the below Terms & Conditions.
Terms & Conditions
Eligibility
To access and use the Trash service, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract. By using the services and engaging Trash, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
Trash Cancellation Policy
If you need to reschedule your collection, please make the request more than 48 hours before the scheduled booking date and time. If you notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled booking date and time, you may reschedule without any additional charge. You can reschedule for any future date within a 3-year period from the initial booking date, and any prebooked fee will be held for your future booking.
However, if the request to cancel or reschedule is made within the 48 hours prior to the scheduled booking date and time, we are unable to accommodate changes at such short notice. In such cases, the prebooked fee will be forfeited. We understand that circumstances may change, which is why we allow rescheduling with more than 48 hours’ notice. Due to the logistics involved in scheduling and preparing for collections, we require this notice period to accommodate other customers efficiently. Thank you for your understanding.
We do not offer refunds for prepaid services; if a service has been prepaid and subsequently cancelled without specifying a future booking date, the prepaid amount is non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation without rescheduling for a future booking date; we do not offer refunds for change of mind cancellation requests. This policy ensures fairness to all parties involved and helps maintain the efficiency of our scheduling system.

Payment Policy
Payment is required at the time of booking for all online reservations. To secure any service with Trash, payment must be made in full during the online booking process. Payments are to be via debit or credit card only as directed by Trash team.
Accurate Description of Pick-Up Details:
If a customer intentionally/unintentionally misleads or inaccurately describes pickup details during the booking process, including but not limited to the number of flights of stairs, the availability of lifts, proximity of parking, or the need for disassembly, the following actions will be taken:
- We reserve the right to contact the customer to rectify any discrepancies and require additional payment for the pickup details that were not accurately described in the original online booking.
- A staff member from our accounts department will call the customer, while our staff wait at the point of pickup to rectify payment discrepancies over the phone. The item(s) scheduled for collection will be delayed pick up until the required payment is made.
- If the customer fails to provide accurate information or refuses to make the necessary payment, the booking fee will be forfeited without any reimbursement, and the item(s) scheduled for collection will not be collected.
This policy ensures that our services can be carried out efficiently and safely, and it maintains transparency and fairness in our operations.
Costs Clause
I/We acknowledge that in any event that the account is overdue, Trash (at its discretion) reserves the right to refer the account to a Mercantile Agency for collection and I/we agree that all costs chargeable by the agency (as if the account had been collected by the agency) will be added to the account. And legal costs incurred by Trash to collect the account will be recoverable “on an indemnity basis” and will form part of the debt.
Account and User Conduct
You agree when using the Trash website to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for any activities undertaken on your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised activity on your account.
In using the Trash online platform, you agree to abide by the terms of use and must use the site in a lawful and respectful manner. Users may not:
- Use the online service for any illegal or unauthorised purpose
- Interfere with or disrupt the service, servers or networks connected to the service
- Transmit any virus or malicious code
- Violate any laws, regulations or third-party rights
- Attempt to gain unathorised access to the services, accounts or computer systems of Trash
- Harras, threaten, harm any other user of the services
- Submit false or misleading information
- Engage in any conduct that Trash deems, in its sole discretion, harmful, malicious or objectionable
In the Terms and Conditions detailed below; the words supplier and client will have the following definitive meaning:
Supplier: refers to Trash Rubbish Removal as being the service provider.
Client / Customer: refers to the person(s) or company named on the booking / delivery docket responsible for hiring the themattressrecyclingcompany.com.au service. If the client comprises of more than one person; written expression will include each of them jointly and severally.
Terms & Conditions
- Any additional items to be collected outside of the pre-booked items will incur additional charges at the rates specified on the website at time of the booking.
- Full payment is required prior to Trash service being provided.
- The client agrees that the item(s) collected by the supplier does not contain any items considered to be hazardous materials, either defined in this agreement or under applicable local, state or federal laws. A more detailed definition of hazardous materials or contamination can be found by reviewing applicable Federal and State Government regulations.
- It is absolutely prohibited to include any type of asbestos materials as part of the service – no exceptions.
- Additional charges will be paid by the client to the supplier for the safe and legal disposal of items deemed by Trash to be prohibited waste materials should these be concealed or otherwise inadvertently collected by the supplier. The additional charges levied compensate the supplier for the additional cost of disposal of the contaminated contents, the clean-up and/or relevant decontamination of the supplier premises or vehicles.
- On the nominated collection day, the client agrees to arrange unobstructed access to the item(s) booked in for collection. If access is obstructed and the driver is unable to load the item(s) onto his truck the client will receive notification via phone, text, or email as applicable. The driver will then make one more attempt to load the item(s) into their truck. Any additional attempts will incur extra charges which will be payable by the client to the supplier. The client agrees that any obstructions to access resulting in delays incur a charge of $100 per hour for any recollection attempts made by the supplier.
- The Trash service fees includes Trash Crew Members, a Trash Truck, waste and recycling fees and the required travel time to and from the property, plus time on site to remove the item(s) from the location specified at the time of booking.
- It is the responsibility of the client to determine the suitability of the chosen area for Trash collection service. It must be suitable for the location of Trash Vehicle, have clear easy access for drop off and pick up, be clear of overhead power lines and cables and be able to bear the weight of the fully loaded vehicle transporting the rubbish. The client is responsible for ensuring that the location complies with all local laws and does not create hazard for pedestrians or road users. It is the responsibility of the client to organise any permits applicable to the collection of the item(s).
- If access to load the prebooked item(s) with Trash vehicle(s) is greater than the preselected and booked distance by the client in the original booking. The supplier will charge the accurate additional surcharges will apply for various distances in increments as shown within website price breakdown in the order summary.
- In respect of any additional fees or charges levied by the Supplier, the supplier will notify the client of any changes to the booking quotation via text, phone or email, including but not limited to changes to the size/type of vehicle required, number of vehicles provided, quantity of item(s) to be collected, frequency of trips needed to complete the service, type of item(s) and time and date of collection.
- 12. For any additional charges incurred on the day of booking, such as additional Trash collection fees or access fees, payment is required on the day of service prior to collection of items. Payments can be made direct to our office via credit card.
- 13. All credit card payments may incur an extra surcharge of up to 3%. Charges are as levied by the third-party payment provider nominated by the supplier and are subject to change.
- 14. By accepting the booking and paying for Trash service the client hereby agrees to indemnify the supplier against all possible damages, claims and lawsuits relating to the engaging of themattressrecyclingcompany.com.au. This includes but is not limited to claims for loss of income, personal injury, environmental damage or property damage.
- 15. By accepting a booking with Trash, you agree that in the event a payment for works completed is not received you agree to allowing a Caveat to be placed over the property to protect the payment for the works completed.
- 16. The Supplier shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury of death arising either directly or indirectly from the performance of its employees or franchisees.
- 17. Your booking, payment and acceptance of Trash service is an implied acceptance of the above Terms and Conditions. Our terms and conditions are subject to change, and it is the client’s responsibility to ensure they have read and acknowledged the terms as displayed at www.trash.com.au prior to proceeding.
